Prosthetic Treatment

Aims to provide lost or missing function, phonation and aesthetics

Prosthetic Treatment

Due to various reasons, loss of substance or loss of tooth may occur in the tooth. As a result, prosthetic restorations can be made with material options so that dentists can treat lost or deficient function, phonation and aesthetics.
Jaw joint disorders and treatments are also evaluated in this context.
We may encounter an increase in the quality of life as the chewing function problems, speech disorders and aesthetics become more beautiful.

We can examine these restorations, which are delivered by cementing (bonding) to the tooth/teeth, on the basis of laminate veneers, krowns, bridges, Onlay-Overlay restorations, and implant restorations.

Materials that we used
Full ceramic : Emax, Empress
Zirconia
Porcelain fused metal

The use and purpose of each material is different.

We achieve the most aesthetic and strong results in laminate veneers, aesthetic crowns and onlay-overlays with full-ceramic materials.

In cases where the chewing force increases, the material thickness decreases, and the mechanical retention increases, we can safely use zirconia restorations in a more traditional approach.
Today, with the development of technology, we do not prefer most times porcelain fused metal, which has remained in the background aesthetically.

Porcelain Fillings
(Overlay - Onlay)

In cases of major damage to the tooth, the composite fillings that we routinely apply may not be sufficient. In these cases, we can use a laboratory-made restoration as an adhesive on the tooth we prepared.

E-max, hybrid ceramic and composite can be used as material.

It can also be used for regulating the functions of contact with opposing teeth and for aesthetic development, especially for the replacement of old amalgam fillings, the replacement of old composite fillings, tooth fractures, caries that have destroyed the protrusions of the tooth, which we call tubercle, and its application in teeth with thin walls.

porcelain fillings; In other words, we can prefer onlays and overlays instead of crown and bridge restorations, which we call veneers today.

These fillings, which we stick on the tooth surface prepared in a way to protect the tooth as much as possible, can be much more protective than the crown preparation.
